Another day, another mind-boggling optical illusion.

Rather than the usual, girl-taking-selfie-accidentally-ends-up-looking-like-cartoon-character type illusions, though, this one is actually intentional.

Earlier this week, Swedish artist Peder Norrby shared a video of a cool trick he'd made using his iPhone X.

Pretty crazy, right?

Here's a follow-up video he shared to explain how it all works.

"I'm using iPhone X with ARKit's face-tracking to perform head-tracking in 3D," Norrby explains in the clip above, before going on to say he'll publish the app -- "The Parallax View" -- for free on the App Store along with the source code.

And to think some people -- *cough* -- just use their iPhones for Twitter and Pokémon catching.
